Visiting Wiard’s Orchards. It is so fun and there’s so much to do! There’s a fair with rides, a playground, a corn maze, games, karaoke, and a haunted park. Besides all that, there’s apple picking, cider, and donuts!

Alyssa:

Attending University of Michigan football games. It was very baby-friendly and accessible to moms who breastfeed. The nursing room was comfortable, had a changing table, and televisions to continue watching the game (if you felt like you were really missing it). The staff at the stadium gave my daughter a certificate for her first game and were kind enough to let me sit in a chair that had a back! You can also bring a diaper bag if you have a child with you! It’s also important to know that everyone needs a ticket, even babies!

Elizabeth:

Apple picking at Wasem’s Farm. It’s pretty straightforward, no bells and whistles. My kids get to wander the field and find their own apples. It’s also very affordable. You purchase by the peck and even when it’s crowded, it’s still a pretty quick in and out trip.

Exploring Three Cedars Farm. We make sure to dedicate a day to playing here every fall. There's SO MUCH to do for any age, and the "fair" area is absolutely free. My kids spend hours playing on the pedal bikes, going down the slides, and climbing on the wooden train. There's also hay rides, tractor rides to pick your own pumpkin, a running 'train' and even a corn maze! Word of warning, it gets BUSY on the weekends, so if you are crowd averse, pick a weekday -- they're open until 8pm!

Hallowe’en in Greenfield Village. We visit it every year! There’s a few great stations and a bunch of entertainment along the path.

Apples at Erwin's in south Lyon. The apple picking has a tractor ride out to the field, which my kids love. They also usually have fast lines for cider and donuts.

Kathleen:

Attending an Eastern Michigan University football game. We love to get to these games in the fall! The tickets are inexpensive, and there is a bounce house and other fun activities for kids to do for free!
