Michelle grew up in Westland, Michigan. She was always staying active and trying out different sports from when she was young through the time she graduated high school. Michelle attended Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan where she majored in Psychology. During her time at LSSU, Michelle was an active member of her sorority and found herself on multiple intramural sports teams. She met her now husband in college and after graduation had her son, Samuel, and they moved to Canton where they could be close to family. Michelle spent her time raising her son and she worked part time in child care and ABA until the pandemic. When she had her daughter, Magnolia (Maggie), in April 2020 she chose to be home and be with her babies.

In spring 2021, about a year into the pandemic, Michelle was looking for ways to get out of the house with her littles and meet other mamas. They all needed exercise and Michelle and her two kids could all use some safe socialization. A Google search led her to FIT4MOM Ann Arbor! Michelle now works two days each week in childcare in Canton and attends FIT4MOM Ann Arbor classes regularly. Both of her children look forward to their time at the “workout park” with their friends.
