Born and raised in sunny California, Monica has always been passionate about sports and fitness, whether cheering on her favorite teams, enjoying long-distance runs, or engaging in weight training. Her love for movement and health has been a constant in her life.

In 2016, Monica moved to the charming city of Ann Arbor, Michigan, to support her husband as he pursued a Master’s-PhD program in Applied Physics at the University of Michigan. During this time, she continued her own academic journey, transferring from community college to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology.

Monica became a mom in 2022, welcoming her daughter Noelle into the world. It was during this transition to motherhood that she discovered Fit4Mom Ann Arbor. Without family or close friends nearby who had children, Fit4Mom provided Monica with not only a way to stay active but also a supportive community of moms who shared their experiences of parenthood. This incredible group became a bright spot in her first-time mom journey.

In April 2024, Monica became the proud co-franchise owner of Fit4Mom Ann Arbor. Now, she is dedicated to empowering and supporting other moms by fostering a welcoming and uplifting space where fitness and connection come together.
